2014 has been an amazing year! I always feel like I’m not getting enough done, but when I look back at the past twelve months, I’ve manage to accomplish a great deal. Wow!
I finished writing my second book and am almost done with the third part of The Sculptor series. I conquered my fears and started this little blog in March and now have almost 400 subscribers. I published The Wrong David, invented the Writers Roast, and launched my Twitter service for bloggers and authors.
I went to Ecuador, traveled throughout Panama, shared special moments with my family in the US, and met some truly incredible people through My Sweet Delirium, Facebook, and Twitter.
Let me just say, dear readers, that I appreciate each and everyone of you and that is why I value your feedback to make this blog bigger and better for 2015.
What posts were your favorite?
What posts did you dislike?
Would you like to see more travel? Art? Literature? Or philosophy?
All suggestions are welcome.
And no matter where you are around the world, I wish you celebrations of love, laughter, fattening food, and too much to drink.
To my huge extended internet family,
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! XOXO
Congratulations on all of your accomplishments! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you via your blog and a few other social media platforms. You’re doing an incredible job. Always providing very thought-provoking, meaningful content. I hope 2015 is just as good or better!!
Thank you, CeeJae. I try to inspire myself and others to think outside our ordinary mundane thoughts. Life happens so fast and I think it’s important to pause and reflect to make sure we are aware of what we are doing and why. It’s hard to find a balance when participating in blog hops and promotional posts. I want there to be something for everyone. I’m glad no complaints so far!
And Ceejae, I love your thought provoking blog, too. My only grievance is that I wish you’d post more often. Enjoy the season and see you next year!
Being a single parent with two highly motivated kids, as well as continuing to get myself into jobs that require long hours during certain times of the year and don’t pay enough so I can let a few projects go, has affected my ability to do what I want to be doing. I keep hoping, praying, for a shift and just have to believe it will come when the universe is ready. Best wishes for an awesome holiday season to you as well!
Whenever life interrupts my writing goals, I try to believe that the world is waiting to show me something before I finish my work. I might meet someone, experience something new, or even just read about a new idea that will add to whatever I’m working on. This helps… most of the time.
Congratulations on a wonderful year! I would love to see more aboyt your writing process – i loved the roast, and i think it would be great to see other phases in your writing. Happy holidays!
Thanks, Michelle! It was a crazy year, but full of rewarding experiences.
I have a few roastees lined up. Let me know if you’re interested in being a roaster.
As for writing–I haven’t had to even write a proper blog, much less short stories or fiction lately, but hopefully things will quiet down after New Year’s.
Many blessings to you and yours and I look forward to working with you again 🙂
I would love to participate in another roast! Sign me up! I’d even be happy just to read if you’ve an odd number of people or something! 🙂
I want to thank you for all your blogs, travel stories, sweet delirium, sculptor series, The Wrong David, your personal life, feelings and suggestions, etc. and all the brain provoking articles and things you posted. Gave your readers a lot food for thought. You did a great job. I will be following you again this coming year. It was an interesting ride.
Thank you so very much. You’ve been so supportive from the very beginning. Lots of love and Merry Christmas. XOXOXO <3
You are rocking it lady! Happy holidays and a continued successful new year!!
Thanks Tam. I hope 2015 is exciting for all of us! XOXO
