Hello friends,
I hope your new year is going well so far. It’s hard to believe we’re in the end of January 2026. I want to give you a quick catch up on what’s going on before it’s too late.
India
January of last year, I had the mind-blowing experience of attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in India—the largest spiritual gathering in the world.
The experience was so immense and surreal that I came back in a daze. I haven’t talked about it because whenever I try to describe it, it’s impossible to find the words.
The best way to share would be through showing, not telling (writer joke). So I plan to organize pics and videos for you soon.
For now, you can glimpse some of this world record-breaking event in my Instagram highlights by clicking here.

I launched a company
Let’s Get Published has become Write Catalyst LLC.
Part of the reason you haven’t heard from me is that I’ve spent the last 6 months developing a writing app that will help writers get out of their own way. The foundation of the app is the Writer Archetype system, which was inspired by Jungian psychology.
Since COVID lockdown, when I first started an online group for fiction writers, I’ve realized getting published is an important goal, but the magic happens on the journey to discovering who you are as a creative force.
To write on a level that deeply resonates with readers, you have to ignore the world, and be 100% tuned in to yourself.
My mission is to help every writer reach their fullest potential.
Are you a writer? Take the Writer Archetype Quiz at writerarchetype.com.
Or share this quiz with a writer you know.
More exciting things to come soon. You can keep up with Write Catalyst by following our new social media profiles.

I hosted an event
In October I was honored to host the live launch event for J.R. Blanes debut novel, Portraits of Decay.
Here is what I had to say about this novel.
“Portraits of Decay is at once haunting, provocative, and full of New Orleans mystery, where envy and greed can make people more horrific than monsters. Blanes has concocted a spellbinding tale that will chill you to the core, as if your body sunk to the bottom of the Louisiana swamp.”
You can watch the event here.

Authorcon VI
What? It seems like I just got back from Williamsburg. Next month, I’ll be back at Blood Bound Books’ table alongside their amazing lineup of authors—this time with the beautiful, bright new Blood Bound edition of SICK.
I’ll also have copies of Popsicle and The Sculptor Series with me. Let me know if you’re heading up there so we can meet up!
Also, hit reply if you’d like me to reserve a signed copy for you.
A huge thank you to all those who’ve left reviews for Sick. It’s the #1 way to help an indie author and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the support.
If you’ve read Sick and haven’t left a review yet, I would be truly grateful if you’d take a minute to leave a quick rating and a line or two with your thoughts on the book.

Thanks for being part of my writing adventure. I couldn’t have made it this far without you. I promise new fiction is in the works.
I hope you’ll tell me about how you’re doing and your plans for 2026.
Don’t hesitate to comment and say hello.
